Structural Roofing Repair
A persistent roof leak led to the failure of the perlin members, compromising the structural integrity of the roof. To address the issue, the membrane and decking were carefully removed, and the damaged perlin roof members were replaced with new, durable fir members. Once the structural elements were restored, new decking was applied, followed by the replacement of vents to enhance ventilation. The existing membrane was reinstalled and securely sealed using a seam strip around the perimeter to ensure a watertight finish. The comprehensive repair resulted in a solid structural roof with a long-lasting, watertight solution designed to provide expected roofing function.
