CMRS recently completed a complex steel roof and structure repair project that stemmed from a poor initial structural design and fabrication, coupled with the impact of an unusually high snow load. The roof ultimately collapsed, necessitating an urgent and strategic recovery plan. The first critical step involved reducing weight and load to prevent further damage and ensure safety. A temporary post was then secured to stabilize the structure, allowing for the removal of all old components. The repair process included designing and implementing an entirely new support system featuring steel posts and other essential structural elements. The work relied on experienced steel structural solutions, incorporating precise welding techniques and securely anchoring the system with concrete bases. This meticulous approach ensured a robust, long-lasting repair and restored the structure's integrity.
